Our Diversity Profile

 

The New York Law School Law Review tracks its own record in the area of female law review leadership and is currently exploring ways in which it can develop a systematic method for collecting demographic data about its members and editors. 

  • For the years 2003-2004 to 2012-2013, 91% (10 of 11) of the editors-in-chief at NYLS have been women.
  • For the years 2003-2004 to 2011-2012, 57% of our editorial board positions on average have been held by women and 56% of the student scholarship we’ve published has been authored by women.
  • For the years 2003-2004 to 2011-2012, an average of 53% of students on the Law Review have been women.
