George Will Op-Ed Calls John Yoo’s Article in the New York Law School Law Review a “Guide to the Moral Calculus” of Targeted Killings

December 7, 2012:  An article published in the New York Law School Law Review by Professor John Yoo (UC Berkeley), Assassination or Targeted Killings After 9/11, 56 N.Y.L. Sch. L. Rev. 57 (2011-2012), was referenced in a recent op-ed by George F. Will that appeared in the Washington Post and other publications on December 7, 2012.

In A Case for Targeted Killings, Will referred to Professor Yoo’s article in discussing the practice of targeted killings using unmanned drones in the war on terror, calling Yoo’s article “a lucid guide to the legal and moral calculus of combating terrorism by targeting significant enemy individuals.” The op-ed was published in numerous newspapers around the country, including the Boston Herald, Denver Post, New York Post, Daily Record, Ventura County Star, and Deseret News.
